About
About Lake Creek Lodge
I’ve been a fishing guide most of my life. I found this corner of Alaska as a teenager and it got under my skin in the way the best places do. I kept coming back, then I started bringing other people with me, and before long “a trip” turned into decades of guiding, hosting, and helping folks get the most out of what Alaska has to offer.
Lake Creek Lodge is really rather simple. I wanted a place that was affordable, straightforward, and built for people who actually love to fish. This is a DIY-style destination. You don’t need a perfect cast or a resume of exotic trips. You just need the itch that all of us have to scratch now and again.
No, we’re not hosting sunrise yoga on the lawn. But if you want to sit around and talk lures and flies, learn a few new skills, or fine-tune what you already know, you’re in the right place. If you’ve been chasing salmon or trout for years, we’ll point you toward some of the best water South Central Alaska has to offer. This place exists for people like you.
We serve hearty meals to keep you going, give you a comfortable place to rest, and try to keep things simple. Yes, sometimes the bar can get a little rowdy, but we’re all here to have a great time. The goal is to enjoy Alaska, learn something along the way, and catch a lot of damn fish!
On booking and expectations
I want to keep this place feeling personal, and that starts before you ever get on a plane.
We don’t use an automated booking system. Instead, I want to hear directly from you. A quick conversation helps make sure expectations line up, dates make sense, and the trip you’re picturing matches what Lake Creek Lodge actually offers.
That’s why the contact form and my phone number are front and center. Reach out, tell me a little about what you’re looking for, and we’ll get you squared away for your next fishing adventure.
